Timers
Timer's stand behind their assigned lane and use the Swimmingly App / Stopwatches to record swimmers times and confirm swimmer IDs.
Chaperones
Manage your respective gender age group to ensure a timely safe meet. (Great chance to be close to your little shark!)
Starter
Controls the swimmers at the blocks, announces the starting command, and signals the start of each race. Experience and training preferred.
Floater
Provides flexible support by filling in for other volunteer roles as needed throughout the meet to ensure all positions are covered.
Clerk of Course
Organizes swimmers into their heats and lanes, ensures they get to the starting blocks on time, and combines heats when necessary to keep the meet moving.
Runner
Collect time cards and DQ slips from the lanes and judges after each heat, delivering them quickly to the Scorer’s Table to keep results updated.
Scorer
Scorekeepers will monitor the times coming in on the iPad and address any warnings that come up.
Stroke and Turn Judge
You will use the Swimmingly App to ensure fairness in races and DQ swimmers as necessary.
